Your Hands Can Heal You

Chapter 15: You've Got Soul - Physical Health, Spiritual Development and Beyond...

YHCHY

When I first heard of Pranic Healing, I was employed as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who worked with chronic pain patients. I went to class hoping simply to learn some new healing techniques that would help my patients, nearly all of whom get little relief from most traditional medical treatments. But not only did I acquire a new healing techniques that did help my patients tremendously, I learned a new way to become spiritually closer and connected to God. This was totally unexpected. As an ordained lay minister in my church and someone who for years had completed prayer journals, I felt that my spiritual life and relationship with God was already very fulfilling. Yet, what I learned from Master Co, especially how to perform Meditation on Twin Hearts, was beyond any spiritual experience I had ever had. During this meditation, I felt a oneness and connectedness to God that I had never felt before. I could actually feel Godâs love pouring over me and through me, opening my heart to respond to this love. Practicing this meditation daily gave me a new and powerful awareness of how we are truly instruments of the Divine.

I had also been doing service for years in my church and community -- or so I thought. After practicing this meditation and studying the teachings of Grandmaster Choa and Master Co, though, I came to see how limited my understanding of service really was. I now fully realize that "it is in giving that we receive." My original desire was to learn simply how to heal my patients more effectively. But now, my is more spiritually - and even financially - abundant than I ever imagined because of the teachings I have learned.

Chapter 10: Keep It Clean - The Importance of Energetic Hygiene

YHCHY

It takes work to keep your energy body clean. Because you are part of a dynamic bio-energetic system, you encounter both the prana that sustains life and the contaminants that diminish that prana. Fresh prana is added to the system from the sun, the ultimate source, but as living things absorb and use this fresh prana - your energy body "breathes" just as your respiratory system does - they also discharge dirty prana back into the system. Some of this expelled dirty prana is broken down naturally, but a portion stays in the air and the ground as residual contamination.

You're Wired For Healing - Your Energetic Anatomy

"During one of his healing sessions, Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui was working on a person who was a heavy drinker, though the person did not offer this information before the healing. Grandmaster Choa found a significant imbalance in this man's energy body - specifically, in his liver - and told him that he should see a physician as soon as possible. The man went to the doctor and had a blood test, but the results indicated that his liver was fine. He received no medical treatment. Several months later, he developed severe pain in his liver. Tests at that time showed that he had hepatitis.

"We tell this story to students to demonstrate that we have an "energetic anatomy" just as we have a physical anatomy, and to illustrate that illnesses manifest in the energy body (energetic anatomy) before they appear in the physical body."

In the often-irreverent language of the operating room, James was "circling the drain." Quite simply, he was going to die. A 41-year-old man who had been hospitalized for gall bladder surgery in the Los Angeles medical center where I worked, James had developed a host of serious post-operative complications: yeast sepsis (a blood infection fatal 70 percent of the time), a blood clot in the lung (fatal nearly 60 percent of the time) and multiple enterocutaneous fistulae (openings in his abdominal wall through which intestinal fluid was leaking).
